Ultrasonic Sensors Range Charts.
The charts on this page can assist in the selection of PIL Ultrasonic sensors and should be used together with the detailed data sheets for each sensor. As an example, the composite chart for the PIL P47 Ultrasonic sensor series shows the area where detection of a 2.5in square object is guaranteed (orange) and the area where detection of a large object is likely (gray), depending on the environment. As an example, for a P47 series sensor with a product SKU ending in 300E, the chart shows a range of 4in to 24 in and an ellipsoid detection pattern approximately 4in either side of the sensor axis.

Note: Patterns and distances shown on the chart are approximate and should be only beused to select sensors.
Detection patterns and ranges vary with the environment.

P44 Teach-in Ultrasonic sensors; analog output adjustment and setting switching outputs
The position of P1 and P2 defines the analog output slope. P1 determines the 0V position and P2 determines the 10V position.
