- Product Details: The universal chemical resistance of the fluoroplastic material allows the application of this ball valve with almost every medium. Acids, bases or aggressive gases as well as all metal-free, ultra pure liquids can circulate through those GL ball valves. Their special construction allows application under pressure up to 12 bar (in GL 14, 18, 25) and also under vacuum (e.g. 2-way ball valve, GL 25, capacity: 1 liter., 15 mbar, leak rate: 0.3 mbar/min). In addition, they have a wide operational temperature range. This means that safe circulation either of liquids or gases is assured at temperatures from -20°C to +220°C. The maximum ambient temperature should not exceed +200°C. These absolutely tight ball valves allow easy opening and closing without any blocking. For assembly with tubes or tubing we recommend our HT Laboratory Screw Joints.
