- Product Details: Magnetic stirring bars, encapsulated in fluoroplastic, have a "seam" or "ridge" along their sides - a typical result of standard production methods. Consequently, residues from the stirred medium can collect in the pores of the seams. This can cause carry-over contamination when the bars are reused. Ultra magnetic stirring bars are coated with fluorplastic by means© a special method that gives the bars a very smooth , seamless finish - eliminating the possibility of carry-over. Thus BOLA-Ultra Magnetic stirring bars are particularly suitable for applications where absolutely no carry-over can be tolerated - such as coloration, trace analysis or similar applications.
