- Product Details: The us© a cold trap can effectively prevent vapor contamination of for example vacuum pumps. This cold trap can be immersed in a Dewar vessel filled with liquid nitrogen or dry ice. During the evacuation and the slow heating process, vapors condense on the walls of the cold trap. Due to the universal chemical resistance of this PFA trap virtually all chemical compounds can be collected safely. The GL thread sockets permit tubes to be attached to the trap by means of screw joints or hose connectors. The swivel nut allows the trap to be opened without disconnecting the tubing.
